Buying used tesla with no Autopilot and FSD. how much to upgrade?

I found a car in craigslist 2019 Tesla model 3. It has neither auto pilot nor FSD nor EAP. How much does it cost me to just upgrade it to EAP? I dont know if I have an option to upgrade it to EAP or not? Can any one please suggest if it would be less expensive if the original owner buys it and adds to the car cost?

Your probably best off waiting for the next sale if there is one. I don't think it would be any cheaper for the original owner.

Buying a 2019 Model 3 from a Craigslist ad. I guess I am a natural skeptic, but that sounds like a terrible idea. Adding autopilot software would be the least of my concerns.

Thank you.. That seems correct. I was asked to buy a 3K Autopilot +8K Full self drive upgrade. I am better off buying a new one instead.

I would be patient, unless you don't care about pricing for the basic ap. I predict Tesla will open the floodgates again when they need some cash for Q2 earnings

hey... waiting paid off for me.. I called tesla for inquiring about a used one. he said he has some new 2018 performance with a good discount -9k. So, I got it. I am so excited.

Awesome! How often do you think they have discounts like this? I'll have to call and ask. So how much did it come out to be? I wonder if they would lease a 2018 model? Would these always show up if you look on the inventory page on the tesla site?

It looks like it’s $11k for AP + FSD. I just checked. I thought it was only $8k. Prices must have gone up.

I have a 2019 Model 3 without AP or FSD. My pricing is $3K for AP and $6K for FSD. I’m not sure why the pricing would be any different for the model referenced in the OP’s first post.

Where did you come up with that?

I have a 2019 Model 3 current in trial mode and my pricing is AP for $3K and FSD for an additional $6K. There is no more EAP.

You don’t want to call. Just schedule an appointment using your app with firmware update being the reason for your appointment. They will just push out an update so they can close out the appointment. You won’t have to go to the service center.

I did as you suggested and they pushed the firmware but I don’t see the Trial for AP. I went into Controls/Autopilot.

AP/FSD trials are on hold. Glad you got the firmware update.
