Jeeez everything is on back order. They need to get designs available for generic filters. It’s a burden on the owner.

I tried FRAM and Bosch directly, so far it's a no go which is weird IMO. Thay have had years to jump into the Model S/X market and have not. Waiting on a call back from a Bosch product specialist.

Tesla actually messed with the T bolt used to secure things here. Early production cars are T20, newer are T15.

Just another unexplainable difference (and both the online DIY guide and the Mobile Tech service manual does not reflect this).

With the huge increase in Model 3s sold they need to drastically increase their order for things so that items stay in stock on a regular basis.

I just picked up the filters this morning and they have a June 2019 build date on them. Either my service center had a bunch in stock or there is a mountain of them sitting in a warehouse somewhere. Major props to the service team for replacing a service bulletin issue in the parking lot before I could even pay for the filters.

Maybe that NE doesn't have many people looking to change out their filters yet so what was shipped to them has been sitting there waiting for someone to buy. I've been thinking I should do this or get my filters replaced by service. We had those wildfires last year that affected the air down where I live and besides that lots of residential and commercial building going on besides some of the local farms in the area sending dirt into the air. The builders got some reprive from watering down the ground they were digging up last year due to the drought issue so found even the outside of my car pretty dusty at times. We replace our home 3M HEPA furnace filters pretty regularly and probably spend almost as much time in my car if I think about it.
