Cabin Overheat Protection

I have a Model X 90D

Overheat cabin on, while charging.

Internal temp says 116 (via tesla app). Battery charge >>20%

I thought it was supposed to keep it below 105?

Any thoughts?

That's very strange I know that on mine it kicks in right around 110. To bring it back to around 105. Call your SC

How long has it been since you exited the vehicle? I believe cabin overheat protection only runs for 24 hrs.

I was seeing something similar. Somebody recommended toggling the setting off and back on. Seemed to correct mine.

I think your low level of charge has something to do with it.

Charge >90% now. Cabin temp at 108 now. I toggled the option for cabin overheat protection on and off yesterday. Currently set to on. X been sitting in direct sun all day.

Don't think this option works.

What was other people's experience? At which internal temp does it kick in?

I will be calling SC tomorrow. Thanks for all those that replied. Hard to find anything about it online.

I've noticed mine hasn't been working as well.

Cabin temp at 108 now.

I've noticed mine doesn't have a very close tolerance to the stated 100, but it hasn't reached 110 (that I've seen) since the toggle trick.
