Got my car 12/20-- still no registration/plates etc

I asked the Delivery Specialist last week and he said at least 6 weeks due to the backlog from the EOY rush to get plates and registration..

I've heard from the DMV folks that it's pretty backed up.
FWIW, it was ~3 weeks in Summer 2018. (22 days for me)

Got my car 11/5, plates came right before Christmas, pink slip the week after. Applied for my carpool sticker yesterday.

Took delivery on 12/5 and my plates were mailed from Tesla Motors Fremont on 12/19. Received the plates the next day. Return address has Tesla Motors Fremont Attn Title Clerk.

What about registration for carpool lane? Is thanks a separate thing from DMV?

Carpool sticker must be on paper with a paper check included in the envelope. Really old school on that one.

November 20th delivery and still waiting for California plates.

The most important thing is a copy of the "signed" purchase agreement. It's been almost 2 months and they haven't uploaded it or mailed me a copy. I need it for the CA clean air rebate. Did you guys get a copy, yet? How long did it take? I contacted my sales person and Tesla. They said it should of been uploaded and a copy would be sent out within 30 days of delivery.

I emailed the person that coordinated my delivery appointment time. She emailed me back the signed final documents the same day. The signed documents are still not on my Tesla account page.

You may want to follow up on that. I picked my car up at Fremont on 11/15 and received my registration and plates in the mail by the end of the month.

Before leaving Tesla on delivery day, I was provided a copy of every document I signed. It was accepted for the local utility company rebate. If i click on the Motor Vehicle Purchase Agreement, all I get is a blank page.

They got me the wrong MVPA so they had to email me the signed copy for me to sign, upload it and send it to them. Kept the copy signed with me and used that for my rebates.

I like to have hard copies of everything I buy just in case.

Mailed. Don't think there is an option to do it digitally, but even if there was, I'd probably do it manually (old school, plus I know how easily our DMV can screw things up).
