Can Supercharger credits be used in different countries?

Hope my question makes sense...

I live in Canada and planning a road trip from Canada to USA and back to Canada. I have 500km of supercharger credits, can these be used at superchargers in the USA? Or will they only be valid at superchargers in Canada? If yes to using credits in either country, I am assuming the 500km is converted to roughly 300 miles?

Anyone have any experience doing this?

I don't have a definitive answer but I am educated-guessing 'yes'. Since the credits are tied to your account, as well as your normal payment method, I would think that they would automatically be used first before any payment would be deducted, just as they would be in Canada.
