I’m pretty sure someone still waiting a year for the car will take it off our hands. You could just wait at the Yorkdale store for someone excited by the 3 and as soon as the rep says 12-18 month wait - swoop in with your offer.

Also, Tesla would most likely let you apply the deposit to another purchase and just sell the car new from inventory or as a demo. Lots of options for an early purchaser. Or at least that what I told myself upon ordering!
