Canadian Model X Prices Lowered

SMSMD, would you mind calling Tesla to see what they tell you about that? I'm curious because, assuming no one is lying, there's a serious miscommunication happening somewhere. The number I called was:

I spoke with the manager at the Montreal store and he was unaware that the price had been decreased. He was to inquire regarding a price reduction for my 70D.

You can thank a lot of Canadian reservation holders who wrote letters to Tesla to bring the prices down. Still high but reasonable as an early-adopter vehicle. It's too bad so many Model X reservation holders had to cancel... the prices are high but not completely out of line with what Tesla announced (5% over the Model S) but the exchange rate plus that 5% really put a nail in the coffin for a lot of people. Sorry they won't be able to enjoy the vehicle they have been thinking about for so long... maybe a used Model S will hold a lot of people over until the Model 3 is available.

The price on my page shows as $114K as well. That is a surprise as I was told a couple of weeks ago that pricing would not be reduced in the near term.

I wonder if this is a mistake on the Tesla site or they did in fact decide to lower pricing.

Weird. Tesla raised the signature price by over $30,000 last Wednesday to adjust for currency variations.

The Sigs were way underpriced and discounted to the US versions prior to the increase, where as Canadian cars were at a premium
