In the US that is mostly true as well. But for sites like EA, they may put in 7 CCS chargers and one CCS/CHAdeMO combo charger. And if a CCS car is using the combo charger you are out of luck and either have to wait or ask them to move.

And many of the EA CCS chargers are 150/350kw. The chademo is 50kw.

Not to mention the CHAdeMO adapter is a large, ugly monstrosity. The CCS adapter, if anything like the one for the European market, is more much palatable.

I would actually consider buying a CCS adapter - but would would not buy a CHAdeMO adapter at this point in time unless I had a specific use case that required it.
