Since I have black interior, The tan headliner as always bothered me a bit.... has anyone ever thought about dying it? or wrapping it or ??? to get the color to be black liek the rest of the interior?

For the record, it is the cloth tan headliner as mine is a standard 85.

As I understand it, the headliner is a bit of a pain-in-the-ass to install in the Model S, I'm sure it would be difficult at best. Perhaps the customizers here might have played a bit, but I haven't seen any examples yet of modified headliners.

A-E (Elie at Al & Ed's Autosound West Hollywood, CA) stated that he would change the headliner in his personal car:

As I understand it, he finished his car:

…but appears to not have gotten around to posting pictures of the final result. There’s been a report on the forum that his business is currently doing very well, so I assume he’s been busy.

But anyways, there would appear to be some geographical distance between you…

I looked at the car at Teslive but I guess I didn't see a distinctively different headliner. That or I'm blind. Likely the latter these days.

I thought I read somewhere it would void the warning because of all of the air bags equipment is in/near the roof headliner. I would love to change mine to black as well...
