This chrome delete came across my YouTube feed today, has anyone seen or tried a plasti-dip chrome delete? The Infiniti he demos the technique on comes out really nicely and it looked fairly easy. Granted he does only the front grille and emblems but I thought the finish might be better than the 3M vinyl.

I've done PlastiDip chrome deletes on many cars, but never to the extent that the Model 3 would require. Doing an emblem or even a set of wheels is pretty straightforward, but the 3 would require a lot of masking, and you would need a different solution for the door handles, as they would wear off fast.

That aside, spending $100 (at most) on PlastiDip/supplies vs. a $700+ wrap is tempting. Unfortunately I don't have a place to spray it myself.
