Cleaning a Model 3

Hi,

Has anyone got any tips on cleaning the interior?

Doors - Tried damp cloth, tried damp cloth with fairy liquid.... (see picture) It just won't come off? Any product recommendations please?

White seats - Any reccomendations! Avoided wearing jeans so far... that can't last for ever!

Had a look on the other forums but its mostly US stuff!

any advice much appreciated.

Is that new or did you fail to spot it at the handover?

That looks like staining of the plastic. Not sure how you'd get that out really, sorry.

Its new! Think its moisturiser or sun cream!

The Autoglym interior shampoo is more for fabrics. I used it on my M3 to clean off a couple of smutty finger/hand marks left from the PDI.

For interior vinyl surfaces I’d recommend this instead:

Autoglym Vinyl and Rubber Care 500ml

(But I don’t normally buy it from Halfrauds!)

For the seats I’d recommend you coat them with a leather ceramic coating.

I use these, then a microfiber cloth. Probably will work, I had some pretty greasy hand prints on my seats at collection.

That’s the same Gyeon leather ceramic coating that I used. Very pleased.

As I’ve had my car detailed, front PPF’d and rest Ceramic Coated its a bit easier to clean. This hasn’t stopped me from spending loads on car detailing products!!! The interior seats were treated with the Gyeon Leather coating as mentioned above and plastics with a Gteqniq product.

I have therefore stuck with Gyeon and Gtechniq products and must say they are head and shoulders above the stuff I have used before.

I use this and is very good at cleaning that white-ish mark off the black (Mine was kids with Sun cream!)

I can thoroughly recommend the GTechniq range for interiors. L1 for leather, I1 for fabrics, and C6 for dash/trims
