Few days ago, I noticed a ringing sound from my model 3 (purchased 9/2018, LR AWD), even while car was off. Then I noticed, while driving, none of my cameras were functioning (rearview, and autopilot). Drove to my job, but at the end of the day, the door wouldnt unlock. There was absolutely no response from the car, so couldn't even use my key card. Tried opening the app, but kept saying "waking up." After about 10 min, the car "woke up" and i was able to access it, and went home.
Few hours later, same thing happened, except after 10 min it stayed dead. No response, nothing. Called tesla roadside, they picked it up and dropped it off to a service center.
Got word from them that it was a control module issue, they are replacing it. Has anyone else had this issue? Don't see much of it on the forums. It should be covered under warranty right? Thanks!
