Kicking around the idea of converting my riding mower.

I'm in the process of bench-marking the gas one.
John Deere says it's 22HP.
Max speed, mowing, seems to be about 4-5 MPH.

I used AllTrails to get an idea of mowing distance.
Mowing my yard means driving the mower 2.0 miles.
Moving time 37 min.

Should I pickup a Tachometer to see what RPM the engine runs, to try to figure out blade RPM?

I figure I'll use 2 motors for the conversion. Traction Motor F/R. and a blade motor.

I also am not going to tear into the mower I bought new, I'll buy a used x320, which will then result in a ton of spare parts for my gas mower.

Love my mower, hate the noise. Figure this fall/winter this would make not only a fun, but functional project.

I have no idea what motors to use, what batteries to buy, what BMS, etc. Charger.

Thinking if 4 12v batteries can make those indoor race cars move like all hell, that just 4 standard car batteries could mow the law. We're all on a budget :)

anyone have any thoughts? thanks!
