Cracked sunroof

Noticed a crack in the sunroof whilst sitting the other day... £1.200 to replace but no parts available.

Appears to be due to impact from a small object (small stone or piece of gravel)

Thought Id share the pain.

Wooah. You must have less than 500 miles on the clock - that is really bad luck.
This is not a common place for a crack.
I would pop into Autoglass or similar and get their opinion on what is likely to have caused it - you may have a warranty claim.

It will go through insurance but not great to have this on a new car.

Ouch!
Insurance should cover it as part of your glass cover.
In the meantime see if Autoglass or whoever can stop drill the crack and maybe fill the impact point.

I waited 221 days for a new windscreen! Good luck getting yours sorted. The rain X windscreen repair resin kit might work as a temp fix for you. Did on mine

Feel your pain - mine cracked several months ago. Autoglass had no supply, so had to go via Tesla and still had a bit of a wait. Also had to push for Churchill to agree to me going to Tesla rather than AG. Was all sorted, you can see my posts in this thread.
