Who cares - the vast majority of folks buying these things will get disqualified on income either way!

There's a lot of things going on and it's all speculation. Most carmakers submitted 2023 and 2024 cars that would qualify for the tax credits to the government. Model Y, Model 3, EV Silverado, and a list of cars not out yet were listed, but no CT. That could mean that Tesla won't release a vehicle that is under 80k at first...or it could mean nothing.
