Just got an email from a Ford dealer offering me a Mach-E Premium for $9k over retail. They must have heard that I no longer have an EDD on my MYLR order. What should I do?

ask him if he can buy the car from ford instead of going through shitty dealers who don't know better than most of the buyers.

Probably not LOL. I want a MYLR but not having any idea when I can get the car doesn’t seem right. My F150 will probably be worth next to nothing when I finally get an EDD.

I just got top dollar for my f150 since the used market is so crazy. I do have a motorcycle to ride in the meantime while i wait for my MYP though.

Is the general consensus that you get a VIN before an EDD? Or is it the other way around? Also, how much longer after completing your profile are people getting a VIN or EDD?

i had that too , i logged out ( button ) from tesla, closed the browser open new one logged back in and it worked fine again.

Usually EDD first then VIN. EDD can mean quite little though.

Profile completion to EDD has been varying it seems.

Oh my apologies, I misunderstood OP's question. What I wanted to know is do people typically receive their VINs during that EDD window or before (or after, heaven forbid).

Here's a partial tracking of my EDD, format shamelessly stolen from another poster here. I ordered on 6/5, so I missed most of the first half of tracking. Visually it's clear that my earliest EDD keeps pushing back by a day and the latest EDD holds strong for a while then retreats under duress and takes up a position further away from the front battle line. Or something like that.

SA says build will happen around 8/18, with delivery at end-ish of month. #teamblue

I have an identical build and I’ve been stuck on Aug 16-Sep 5 for two weeks (minus shifting a a day from Aug 15 a few days ago).

So maybe they are building that type around then?

Oh! I failed to mention it in that post but my edd shifted one day from aug 13 to aug 14 a few days ago too so your theory sounds plausible to me.
