Don't know if changes were made but today everything is working well.
Looks like this currently popular thread is in need of repair and is suffering from database errors:
We have to wait for the site administrator (dsacks6) to get around to fixing it.
OK, it's been fixed.
Do we know what causes this? Can someone post some 'illegal' characters and cause it?
'Race condition' with two posts happening at once?
Actually I saw some weird stuff on one of my postings that you edited.
I looks like this:
Maybe we were both editing the post at the same time. (You were editing it to fix the SmartE picture link)
It looks like part of another post showed up mixed in with mine. When I go to edit the post to remove the garbage characters they don't show up in the edit window. Data corruption of some sort.
yeah, that's quite possible
The site had some what I guess were server issues today.
We're working on figuring out the problem.
Is it possible that some replies beyond yesterday 15:25 got lost ? I can't be certain ... but in the thread http://www.teslamotorsclub.com/tesla-roadster/2251-refunds-roadster-deposit-5.html I seem to vaguely remember it went beyond the post at 15:25 by "Tim M". (I could be mixing it up with another thread on refunds ...)
Yeah, it is. I haven't been able to get in touch with the site's administrator (dsacks6) yet, but it looks like we're currently running on a back up version of the site. A bunch of organizational stuff I did last night has been undone. So it's as if... we've stepped... back .... in ... TIME!!!!
Anyhow, hopefully, we'll have an idea of what's going on in the near future.
I keep getting database errors and it's telling me I've already posted the message but it's not showing up so I'm trying again. Sorry if multiple posts show up.
I also got some database errors this morning around 6 am (and noticed some weirdness regarding remembering already seen posts). I sent email to dsacks (our fearless site admin) and I believe he may have done something to help. Over the past hour or so things seem to have improved.
Dsacks has fixed the problematic table, so things should be back to normal.
