DFC Pole Fan undercurrent/fault

I've been getting some random messages about DFC Pole Fan undercurrent and DFC Pole Fan Fault. Does anybody know what this is referring to or what the DFC unit is?

Pretty sure it's PEM related. What error codes does it throw?

Dual fan controller

Dual fan = the fan assembly for cooling the PEM and motor. If that fan doesn't work, you can't drive very far before the car shuts down.

I'd contact service... you don't want to get stranded on the side of the road!

I have a Roadster 1.5. I thought that the 1.5 had a single fan for cooling the PEM. I haven't noticed the motor or PEM getting hot (although it is theoretically "winter" in Texas right now). It's kind of a flaky error, so I wonder if the connector is loose or something

From doing a little research, I see that I have that backwards. It's the 1.5 that has the dual fans.

Correct there is a blower for the motor underneath and a second integrated into the PEM on the drivers side.
