Did you think you were being punked during the Cybertruck reveal?

Curious as to whether you thought that the Cybertruck, when it first appeared, was a prop with the real truck to follow . . .

Not only were my wife and I waiting for the actual Tesla pickup to come push that rolling monstrosity off stage but we were SURE it was going to happen immediately after they broke the windows. I pictured that turd being pushed off and the real Tesla truck having the unbroken glass demonstrated immediately after doing humanity a favor and pushing that other piece of junk off a cliff.

I didn't think the real one would be wheeled out after; I thought the giant flat panels would be taken off to reveal the svelte vehicle underneath. But as the presentation went on, I realized it was not the case. But it's growing on me. If I needed a truck, I'd have a preorder in already.

When that first rollout happened and it came into view, and then the people started getting out of it, I went through a range of feelings, from "What am I even looking at?" to "Have they made a huge blunder?" However. . . The idea that it might be some kind of prank never crossed my mind.
