Does anyone know? Plug connection.

    Does this plug have to be connected somewhere?

    That's for the can bus. It's for diagnostics and doesn't get plugged in anywhere unless you get a Tesla Tattler or OVMS device

    I thought it is from drivers side. There is plug too, but i don't have a photo right now.

    Nope, that is the diagnostic port - used by Tesla service folks or as PV-EV stated, a Tesla Tattler or similar device.
