Picked up my X on 1/18 with 7.0 loaded. Got V7.0 2.10.26 on 1/19 that activated 72 amp charger. Updated on 1/22 to 7.1. Updated 1/30 to 7. 1 (2.10.71). Hope this helps answer your question.

so stupid question on updates...
Does the car need to access home wifi or does it pull updates over the LTE/4G connection? When my X delivers just wondering if I need to extend my wifi to the garage, which is a little far from my airport if the X needs wifi versus over the air connectivity to AT&T or Verizon. Thanks

It can access updates either way - wifi or LTE/Cellular. No need to extend the wifi - it will be fine. I've updated my S in my garage over wifi and in parking lots of 3G.
Also, most of the time the update is in your Tesla when you get the notice saying an update is available. When I get a notice in the morning, it has downloaded overnight. I then let it update while I am at work and drive home with the new update in place.
