Does the Roadster qualify for the $7500 tax credit?

No, the Roadster's on the "Acquired Prior to 1-1-2010" list.

I don't see it on THIS link (as posted above in post by Seneca_Chicago): IRS_Line_Prior_2010

What am I doing wrong ? (blindness, old age, ? )

EDIT: Oh DUH!!! Nevermind, I used a "FIND" on that page ... I guess I am getting lazy! Naturally, with the IRS misspelling "Tesla Motors" as "Telsa Motors" I could not find it !!!

I live in NY and talked to my accountant last week about this and he let me know that the $7500 credit is subject to the AMT. ...

Based on running my taxes through TurboTax, it looks like the AMT doesn't reduce the credit. It's possible that TurboTax isn't complete/correct yet, there were some small updates within the last couple weeks, but they had held the forms for this out for a while and the forms have been in it since a few updates ago. So my guess is that the AMT doesn't affect it.
