They do have a telephone crew in the back office at Oakville that perform a number of functions. I wouldn't be surprised if this is quite true.

Hopefully, although if there's a few more of these it'll add some weight to it. So would putting a few into the showrooms to see it.

It would be a surprise as there's usually months of delays due to Canadian regulations reviews and compliance.

The guy who runs the "Tesla Owners Online", posted that he got a call yesterday. He's in Toronto. They are releasing the Performance models now, long range in April or so

Possible, but given the amount miscommunication between HQ and service center over the years it is unlikely. But, Elon has always been magical.. maybe it is rabbit out of his hat!

Tesla tends to ship their new cars to their staff first follow by California region. Delivery to date usually starts with an explosion on the west coast.
