The biggest drop in battery you will see is within the first year. Also, the KM range you see is based off of your driving efficiency, wheel configuration etc. It doesn’t mean your battery necessarily lost that much capacity

Perhaps the door wasn’t closed properly and the reason the fan was running is because the car was on? Explains the gap in the window and the fan.

I think the software updates are playing with the bms one way or another, which is why you see a dramatic drop after a update. Could just be updated battery range estimates also.

Sorry but did you think you will have the same range from when the car was brand new forever? It’s a battery, it degrades overtime with use. It’s basic chemistry, nothing Tesla can do about it. They’re not downgrading your battery through software updates.

Range is something you can’t add after. Yes the warranty is half-way finished, but it has a longer battery warranty, lifetime connectivity, homelink, mats, dimming mirrors, premium sound and more. I vote for the LR if you need the range. If not get a new SR+.

What are you talking about the new vehicle warranty is 4 years or 80,000KM so it still has that. And the battery warranty is longer vs standard range(8 years 192,000KM vs 160,000KM) and he get’s more range in a battery that you can’t add later. I would still go with the LR, but that’s just me.

If I recall correctly Elon said Model 3 doesn’t have said filters because there isn’t enough room to fit it. So unsure how you would find filters to fit in your model 3

Updated finally, my SSD on FAT32 still works properly unlike what others are reporting.

I was downloading the navigation update but had to drive somewhere so the update paused. I got back to my car and it tried downloading 8.1 again and I thought it wouldn’t work again but it did. Didn’t need the navigation update

Dude you probably just solved all my issues. I did have a HW3 retrofit, and I’m on 2019.6. I got the 8.1 update somehow, and it failed downloading, then the 2019.20 navigation update popped up.

Let me know if it installs. It failed on mine, and then disappeared.

Oh didn’t know it wasn’t the latest. Well don’t get your hopes up then, not sure why I’m getting this update so late. It is taking a while to download.

I just got back in my car from talking to service, clicked the software tab again and it’s now downloading new navigation data so Tesla gods must’ve seen your comment haha. Currently on 2019.6 I’ll let you know what the new version is.

Just walked inside service and told them the issue. He said the update must have been pulled that’s why it’s doing that he can’t push it again to my car it says I’m on the latest. Dammit

Been almost an hour, the update just keeps getting stuck at 100% for 10-15 min, resets back to 50%, did it 4 times now. I had a service appointment and just picked up the car, so I’m still in their parking lot. My car doesn’t seem to be bricked though.

I’ve been trying to update for 45 minutes or so. The car downloaded to 100%, stayed there for 10 minutes and it just reset back to 50% and it’s downloading again. If it bricks my car luckily I’m in the Tesla service parking lot.

Installing the update now seems to be rolling out to everyone now. I have LR RWD

Probably not, the software contains improvements for all models so just releasing in batches.

I have been wondering this for a while. I’ve been wanting to get the 20” wheels, and on Teslas site it says “This package includes rear suspension adjustments to optimize ride quality“ which I thought was odd. Did they change yours? Model 3 20" Sport Wheel and Tire Package

Yeah the 20” can come in grey so you have the option to do that haha. I powder coated my 19” wheels but Tesla doesn’t offer such wheel so I can’t change mine unfortunately they’re still silver in the app. For my sanity I want to choose the 20” Grey but that’ll mess up my range readings.

Haha yeah when something doesn’t make sense I always check the post date. This “sale” for FSD won’t happen. This was really Tesla making it right for people who bought EAP back then.

I hope you reported these to Tesla directly before you came on here. I assume some other people also had issues because it seems they haven’t wide released 8.1 yet. It’s possible the new update could be causing these inconsistencies, or it’s just a coincidence. If a quick reset solves the issues...
