AP1 - 100% yes DOES read speed limit signs including dynamic digital ones that change with traffic.

AP2 & 2.5 - 100% NO do not read signs at all and is 100% based on a database that is about 95% accurate in my area.

Mine is a Jun 2016 build, (144744), and reads the signs fine.

I have AP1, and it does read speed signs.
It is quite reliable, it won't do funky stuff like school hours or any weird signs. But plain vanilla signs, 90% of the signs out there, no problemo.

I've found this feature to be super useful because frequently you don't know what the speed limit is, and you see a cop with a radar gun. Just glance at the dash, and get to the right speed.

Also AP1 automatically adjusts speed per the speed signs as the speed limits change.
