Doing 180s in the model 3 performance

I come from driving a RWD car -- I'm a completely ignorant individual and sometimes don't want to do three point turns. My old solution was to do a 180 with no VCS. Has anyone done this in the model 3? Do you have to be in track mode? I'm afraid the front wheels will drag me around

No, they are smarter than that. It's not full time 4WD.

Presumably if you pull a wheel speed sensor you could. It would be great if Tesla would let you kill traction entirely, but track mode is ‘track oriented’ traction control. It has enough rear bias I’d think it would be no problem otherwise. Might be tricky at low speeds though.

Track mode certainly tames the nannies enough that kicking out the rear is easy. But are you asking to slide around donut-like or is it a turning radius question?
