@chojn1,

Let me just say myself and the entire community appreciate all you’ve done and the massive amount of personal time and work both you and your son have put into the projects you’ve both worked on! Still LOVING everything I purchased to help your son and his non-profit along (one of EVERYTHING)! I smile at them every time I climb into my car and use them!:)

Ski

Thanks Ski for all the support for the kids' project.
Not quite sure what they are going to do next year as Coby and all the older kids are heading for college.

Looks great. Have you determined that a slit to allow slight compression is not needed?

The slit was a great idea, but does require quite a bit of torque to compress the two sides in aluminum. And once done, it is harder to remove as the pieces are now bent. Not a big deal if it is a permanent fixture. But one of the early tester wanted it to be easily removable. The new design works well, just require a little blue thread lock.

Hi Roentgen,

Sorry about the delay in reply.
Work has been busy lately. Anyway, got a few versions printed and tested:

This is the bottom cover version I am happy with:

Design will be turned over to manufacturing later this week.
Your prototype copy will be in the mail once I get a chance to test fit it.
