Driving without TPMS

Hi All,

Just got some new Vossen HF-3, and swapped out Tesla's OEM TMPS into the new wheels. However, i kept the OEM wheels, so i can use them maybe for long road trip or whatever. Will there be any issue if i drive without TMPS? I mean, will it mess up anything(systems or technical), or if the car will stop running because it see low pressure warning?

thank you!
Joe

Oh my God, the wheels will fall off
Ok, that's a stretch. It won't affect your ability to use the car in any way.

Hi @joesmithf1 ,

TPMS sensors Alligator 590883 are available for $27 each from Amazon-Tire Supply Network-Discount Tire...

They are easily programmed by the tire shop...

You may wish to endure the messages, but it's not that expensive to add the sensors...

Good luck,

Shawn
