Easier way to use wipers

The auto function of the wipers seems to be poor for my usage.
Is there an easier way turn on/off the wipers?
When driving I find it hard to use the wipers menu on screen after pressing the stalk to activate.
I was wondering if there is an aftermarket driver screen that has wiper function or if not, maybe my best bet is to put the tilt attachment on the main screen.

Most of the time now I push the button on the end of the stalk each time I want them to wipe. 95% of the time they go way too fast whether on auto or any of the settings. One would have hoped that intermittent wipers were a solved problem by now, but they, apparently, are not.

If you click the button on the end of the signal stalk, it will wipe once and bring up the windshield wiper controls. If you click the scroll wheel left or right while the wiper controls are showing, it will toggle through the settings without you having to tap the screen or take your eyes off the road.

It'll be nice when the auto wipers work better.
