Just make sure they do the reset on completion as explained in the manual. It catches many first timers out.
Press the red reset button on the side of the wall connector.
That's pretty good. I had an official installer quote me $850 as I needed an old safety switch replaced with a modern RCBO. In the end I used a friend's company, Aotea Electrical - Electrical Contractors Brisbane, and only paid a little bit more to get my switchboard rebuilt as it was full of very old CBs and I had the lot replaced with RCBOs. I had the HPWC put on the T33 controlled load, and an additional 15A GPO on the main house so I can charge off what's left of my solar output after the pool pump has battered it.
It was their first install of a HPWC but was really straightforward and they did a good job. He's thinking of applying to be a recommended installer now, lol.
