This cartoon perfectly illustrates how absurd many of the questions were during the Q&A following Elon's presentation.

Was so embarrassing to watch. Seems our information sources care more about sensationalism than accurate in depth reporting. Learned more following up in forums than that q&a.

Just saw this great documentary about the challenges they faced with Saturn V back in the 1960s. As we are looking on to see Elon's rocket eventually reach Mars.

a few comments and comparisons. i remember watching those launches in "Real time" the saturn V would take "forever" to clear the tower, walter cronkite would be cheering as it slowly lifted.

the entire mission control seemed to be buzz cut haircut guys in white shirts, ties, pocket protectors, silently screaming "go go go go"

now their grandchildren at spacex, are diverse, still screaming and cheering "go go go go" and the falcon climbs like a homesick angel.

the "long pause" is finally ending
