Not a marketing guy, but I'd guess in terms of the graph above, the best strategy would be to go after the largest "Somewhat likely" section.
However I doubt the political slicing is the best slicing that could be done.

I'd say he isn't just "courting" the right, he is full time engaged in not-so-moderate right wing activism (at the same time complaining about "propaganda").
Although he maybe still acts like he is new to scene and cutely discovering the "truth" as if a secret is being revealed to him.
He really, really, really needs someone close to break the news to him that he’s not funny.
Seems like he could hire Chapelle or whoever to work up some new material so that he doesn’t have to lean on puns built almost entirely around 420, doge and women’s breasts. After a few years it’s wearing thin.
That's right Gary, the people that Elon is going to be paying big money for content creation should get $7 item for free...

IMO Twitter is a Porta-Potty. Established Musk as world's greatest laughingstock and has distracted him from Tesla. When was the last OTA update you got from Tesla? I used to get twice a month. Got one, maybe two, thus far, in 2023.

Elon Musk recently signed a letter calling for a six-month pause on development of all artificial intelligence technology, as was widely reported last month. But that hasn’t stopped Musk from investing heavily in AI development for Twitter, according to a new report from Insider.
Musk has recently hired AI engineers from Alphabet’s research firm DeepMind, including Igor Babuschkin and Manuel Kroiss, according to Insider. And apparently he’s looking for others to help Musk get his own AI software off the ground at Twitter.
While I am against all hate speech and racist, anti-Semitic content....the BBC is a leader in cancel culture and only promoting left wing idealism....all the things Elon is fighting against. At the moment the BBC is constantly attacking the state of Florida...this is particularly appalling for the BBC because they love to travel to Florida but struggle to justify the extra carbon footprint to make it to the West Coast where they feel more naturally at home

The algorithm is out in the public domain.
The media (this includes fox news too) when they have you at the crosshairs, they know how to provide selective context and roll out hit pieces after hit pieces.
They have perfected that as an art. And when multiple media outlets work in unison, it is like a hyena pack. And the sheep will buy it. If a section of moderates buy into that kind of gaslighting, they have won.
Except now they have encountered Musk.
Round 1 they have won, by scaremongering - oh my God Twitter is a hate fest, Musk actively encourages racist, sexist, yada yada ,… - and that worked. The companies pulled down their ads putting Twitter under enormous financial pressure. If they go bankrupt the media will do a victory dance.

I don't really care if you consider it "proof" since a) that's not my main point, and b) Catturd tweets have been all over the "More Tweets" section for quite a while, in my own experience by browsing various person's feeds including Elon's. So they were amplified by something, be it "the algorithm" itself, a special list, or something else. Right now a Catturd tweet was on the 8th position of the first "More Tweets" section that I brought up, as well as in the second one that I brought up with a "Private Window". The account doesn't seem to have that many followers, likes or whatever, but who knows what factor might consistently get it up there.
One way or the other, it is all over the place.
