We did this before. Tesla were rated top in 2 categories by some measure, but were marked low in a category for 'does NCAP like the name and marketing of your solution'.

Apart from missing the head up display, which to be fair would be nice, the big points loss could be improved in software updates.

The biggest loss was Driving Collaboration. They were looking for incremental steps towards full autonomy. So working with the driver, e.g. steering where the driver can guide the car one moment and the car guide the driver the next - not a binary on off.

I think they are trying to be realistic (or maybe pessimistic) about the pace of regulation they see ahead.
