Nissan Leaf Carwings Android application uses OCM database
https://market.android.com/details?id=com.applications.lawsystems.leafcontrol
True but apparently it does a lot more than the 'official' app which is why the Leaf people seem to like it.... also uses OCM which will help improve the quality of the Charging Station data available to the car.Just to be clear, this isn't the Carwings app but a 3rd party one.
If it uses the database, it would be nice if it had a way to add to the database as well.True but apparently it does a lot more than the 'official' app which is why the Leaf people seem to like it.... also uses OCM which will help improve the quality of the Charging Station data available to the car.
Proposal: OCM should add a concept of "collections" so that it would be easy to list:
- favoured routes (e.g. I have lots of tacit knowledge about driving Scotland - England in a Roadster)
- tourist trails (e.g. The one ZCW set up in mid Wales)
- specific initiatives (e.g. The plugged-in places, the Quebec chargers, the UK and DACH Tesla HPCs)
This would ease and codify for later use the responses to threads like the one about charging in upstate NY (which is really about how to transit between one area and another) or Kevin's question ("how do I drive to Switzerland").
Two bucks an hour, no mention of what power is available.Charging stations will cost $1.25 to $2 per hour, and cars take an average of two hours to charge completely.
