Falcon Door made worse by SC

Purchased used Model X last month, in for service this week. Falcon door we’re out of alignment. SC attempted fix, made one much worse, and is now stating we have to take the car to a body shop and pay to have repaired. Claiming something forced the door out of alignment. Anyone had a similar situation or estimate on cost to fix? We’re very frustrated, and knew the alignment was a sticky issue with SC’s but this seems ridiculous.

When we bought our new x 2 1/2 years ago, fwd were not aligned, slightly off. Service said they aligned, but still off. I’ve learned to live with as never had any issues with them, other than slight miss alignment.
Don’t want sc or body shop to make things worse.

That does suck. With the car being used, neither you nor the SC can prove either case. Maybe you can ask for the cars previous SC service history and see if there's anything helpful there?
