Flat tires on Model X

I swear there is something to this. I've had more flats in the 80k miles on this car than all my others cars combined during the same time. My wife calls the X a nail magnet.

there are lots of ev haters out there... for example there s a guy at my local panera who has been caught puttin nails on several ev s includin mine...

The real problem is the tires that come on the model X. The X is a heavy vehicle with low heavy battery. If you bump a curve or sidewalk height conditions it can causes the side wall of the tire to crack and go flat.This kind of flat tire can not be fixed. First 8 flat tires 5600 dollars

try runnin 245 60 r19... could prevent flats better

In all car brands bubbling and ruined tires happen a lot more with larger rim sizes. This is why I always pick the smallest wheel with the fattest tire and stay away from performance versions requiring large rims to clear the Brembos.
