Me neither. I'm Nov 5-Dec10. No update since almost a month now. My trade in expired once, will expire again Nov 10th.
That sucks, no doubt.
The way things have been going, I feel like it'll be closer to that December date.
I kind of wonder if they are holding off issuing 2024 VINs until they sell most 2023 in order to avoid people rejecting their 2023.
Hmm, the only way that would really work is if Tesla decides to issue 2024 VINs in 2024. People are really trying to get their tax credit models in before Dec 31.

Is the tax credit only applicable to 2023 models? I'm not in the US.
Just looked at the tracker, appears there are about 4 of us that ordered on 9/4 that have yet to receive a VIN. 3 on the east coast, 1 on the west.
I ordered 9/2 MXP - still no VIN. Denver based.
No the tax credit applies to when you pick up the vehicle, regardless if it was 2023 or 2024 if there were no changes to the battery.
If you are not in the US, it doesn't matter 2023 or 2024, you are NOT qualified for US tax credit.

Yes, it may come across as more confusing than it needs to be. Starting in the new year 2024, federal tax rebate which is currently at $7,500 [that may or may not get reduced depending on the complexity around battery make-up % and country sources (my belief is that it won't change)] will be provided at point of sale vs. that of this year that can only be claimed during next year's tax filing season. Our state (Colorado) tax rebate I believe will remain unchanged at $5,000.
