Found the FM/HD radio unit

yeah, someone had already tried the actual fm unit, and it was a no go. that's why i was hoping the amplifier connection might be a more standard connection that we could tap into, which it appears to be from the photos. i posted another thread (with photos) on it here:

does anyone know where the fm antenna amplifier is?

I think ESPN radio has a bunch of affiliates they work with. I was driving from Gainesville Florida back to Ft Lauderdale and found on Tune in ESPN 850 they were broadcasting the Dolphins game. Once the game was over they had a message saying that since the game was over it was back to local broadcasting.

Okay so here's my experience setting this up.

I have a 2016 Tesla Model X.

I put in a 10 disk cd changer, connected it with this splitter. It sounds really good.

Theres an occasional vague periodic sonic "thup" that sounds maybe like the FM is trying to find a signal.

But for the most part, works exactly how one could expect it.

i would use the two separate antenna adapters rather than the Y adapter shown in this post. i did a write-up on doing this for XM specifically on the model 3, which is probably a better guide to follow for your use case (rather than installing a CD changer in a model X)...
