I already submitted my suggestion to Tesla that they change the regen to low automatically when the temperature reading hits 32F or below as a safety precaution.
Eh, as someone who lives where it is regularly in the 20s and zero precipitation during the winter, I would rather the car ask me and let me push a pop up button for low regen than do it automatically. Then I wouldn’t be surprised by unexpected regen behavior in cold weather.
In Alaska to limit door and window freeze I’ve always used the product - Black Magic wet tire, I’m pretty sure it’s mostly silicone. Just a lite coating on all the door and window gaskets helps prevents the frost freezing. Prestone brand windshield fluid and spray de-Icer is the best one for ice melt and freeze resistance.
