FSD supervised does not require actually touching steering wheel

Has anyone else noticed this. With full self driving supervised, when you receive a prompt to touch the steering wheel, if you simply look ahead and pretend to touch the steering wheel, the nag goes away. Apparently now.FSD is using total visual observation to determine if you are touching the steering wheel.

For vehicles with in cabin cameras, even basic AP hasn't required touching the wheel for years. If FSD beta didn't include the same behavior in those vehicles, it is nice that FSD supervised does.

At least w 12.3.4, you must provide rotational torque every few minutes, cabin camera or not. You also can touch operate any of the steering wheel controls, like the volume control or any of the buttons. The wheel rotational requirement is significantly reduced from previous versions, but still is required. I usually just hang on with one hand, generally enough.
