Sister company Renault is at $170 end user battery pack price. So even if this talking about cell costs, it still means a substantial price reduction. Wondering how they are going to get there. Is AESC still their preferred supplier? Did they actually manage to sell it?

If that is the battery cell price then a 60 kWh Nissan LEAF 2.0 should start at ~$30k before any incentives.

That's the original Model 3 target price. Sounds almost too good to be true. If they manage to dip that low they might as well send their full first year production to Norway I guess. Anyway, early 2018 there will be three long range EVs in the $30-$40k segment. Watershed moment?
