Gas paddle [Correction: accelerator pedal]

I never understood drivers who use both feet to drive. If your brake pedal is depressed, it causes your brake lights to illuminate which could potentially make it more dangerous for you if the person behind never knows when you are actually braking.
I used to work with a guy who would drive with one foot on the accelerator, one foot on the brake and one hand on the horn. After some of us had seen our lives flash before us while riding in his car, we'd politely decline his on-going offers to drive at lunch.

The aluminum performance pedals are more slippery than the stock pedals. Is that the issue?

I suppose they might be? But your shoe does not really touch the aluminum, because of the raised rubber inserts...

I don’t find them slippery. They seem like normal pedals. I guess if you were accustomed to mountain bike flat pedals they might seem slippery.
