I got an email from them this morning. I'd like to say at this point that I signed up but have never used them. Good grief, I certainly won't be now.

See below our new revised GenieFlex tariff which will be introduced across the GeniePoint network:​

Please note, the price you pay for your entire charging session will be calculated using the pence per kWh applicable at the time you start your charging session, irrespective of when your charging session ends. If you are a driver eligible to receive a discount on your charging price this will be applied to the new GenieFlex rates.​

They can’t make money because I’m not sure there is a Genie that actually works.

I had the misfortune to attempt to charge at a GeniePoint charger in Okehampton. Was a miserable experience. And now they want to r*pe you with this pricing

Wow I hope they don’t get much use so that they eventually realise this is unacceptable to charge such extortionate rates. Annoying that even Tesco Pod Point’s have all gone up recently to 44p but compared to nearly a £1 they seem quite reasonable

It’s actually pretty difficult to use them as they have the least reliable network, anywhere. This was the situation in Leeds yesterday morning.

where I come from there is a beautiful saying: it is not an idiot who asks but who, in this case, pays.
Supercharger is the best, at the moment.
