    Step 2 is creating a blockchain style marketplace for energy. (starting)
    Step 3 is making energy storage cheap. (2-5 years out)

    The Germans continue their efforts to single-handedly save the world.

    I think that's a perfect demonstration that any project at all can use blockchain as a buzzword.

    Just because you don't understand it, doesn't mean that it's just a buzzword.
    Some people do understand it and are using it productively.

    They have one(about to be) running in Brooklyn.

    Wouldn't it make more sense for this to be our currency rather than cash or bitcoin? I mean, why waste all that computing power?
