Get some Sense... [sense monitoring solution]

I like Sense even though I think the tool could be so much more. If you are thinking about Solar it would be wise to get something like Sense to really understand how your house uses electricity. But you'd want it for a year before you order Solar and most people won't have that patience. I had it before hand but not for a year. Sense helps understand your energy at a macro scale but not at a micro scale. I once diagnosed one of my A/C capacitators was going bad by seeing the start up signature change. And I found out if changed because Sense said it found a new A/C. Something like that, it was a while ago. Then I could in the data that the A/C took 3-4 times to start up. I knew enough that was a cap going bad. But this is something Sense should have been able to tell me.. 'hey, something is wrong with your A/C' but it didn't.
