Getting ready for winter

Hi everyone, I just got my Model 3 this week from tesla laval. Do you know a good place to buy winter tires, aftermarket Mags and PPF.

I need to get ready for winter.

I use Michelin X-ICE SNOW tires for my winter setup. I bought them thru Tire Rack, but Discount Tire generally matches Tire Rack's price and has a great road hazard warranty and free balance and rotation services.

Last year I bought my winter tires from PMC Tire. I placed my order in mid July and received them in late September.

I bought my winter Hakkas from KalTire; they've been my source for winter tires (and installation) for my last several cars. Even though I've changed locations, they've all provided great service.

PMC tire has nice RTX rims for a good price. You could do a swap and use stock aeros as the winter whees and nicer ones as your summers

X-Ice is the best balance of winter tires I’ve ever owned and that’s what I currently use. I got mine from Tires23, but they are a local Toronto shop.

PMC has 18" rim options for model S refreshed. Anybody ever tried them?

For those in the east Toronto GTA area, on Monday I ordered the Replika R241 (black satin) with the new this year's Nokian Hakkapaliitta R5 EV (specifically designed for EV with a layer of acoustic foam for noise reduction) for my M3 RWD coming in a month (hopefully). I am also getting a dual swap to use the R241 with the OEM all-season tires and black lug nuts.

From other posts on this forum, I found Spence Tire in Scarborough. They have $150 off their Tesla packages for a limited time (will be sold out this month they say), in addition to getting the typical $50 Nokian rebate presuming they come out with it for these tires in October. After extensive looking, I found most places were not comparable to this price and they get great reviews.

Happy with this find so thought it may be helpful to others!
