It has been rumored that chrome will be coming to the Model S center screen. With voice now added to the browser, it could make voice commands in the Tesla even more useful/user friendly.

One can only hope. I personally feel it would be the best platform. Tesla/Google = Win/Win!

I certainly hope Tesla can scale the UI and apps and eventually offer an SDK, but I don’t think More Google™ in my car is desirable. Google's business relies on selling me to their advertisers, and I’d prefer to stay away from that as much as possible. I’d prefer Tesla stay on mission and continue to deliver the goods to *me* the paying customer.
