Anyone have any insight into the Handover party timing and location? There is one forum speculating that the event might be held at gigafactory, curious if anyone knows when invitations are likely going to be sent, and what type of techno music will be playing?

Probably easier to handover the keys around Fremont... the X event was a few miles South of the Fremont Factory.

Don't care what they do as long as

1. Full reveal of the car - interior exterior. No hiding or non-answers
2. Options are revealed
3. Timeline established on higher end options (AWD, bigger battery, P)
4. Date when car configuration is announced

It will be a event full of fanfare, that everyone on this forum will watch. Petrolheads will roll their eyes, auto reviewers will climb over each other to get pictures and test drives while being indifferent to appease their gearhead readers.

Well they bought that Flagship dealership in San Francisco not only to turn it into a Tesla store but also to have Tesla Events.

Per their SEC Form 8-K, filed July 7, 2017 (emphasis mine):

The first certified production Model 3 that meets all regulatory requirements will be completed this week, with a handover of ~30 customer cars at our Fremont factory on July 28. More details to follow soon.
