Great write up EarlyAdopter... can't wait to take my 85D to the track here in Ohio this summer. It should be interesting to see how it does. There is a road course that does 75% of their track as a bit of an AX-type event. I attended that with my Audi Allroad last year and loved it. Figured that might be a way to avoid the battery trimming output, but from what you've written that may not be an issue. Maybe i'll do a fun-day instead (or in addition to)
