headlight touching side panel - any potential issues down the road?

Just took delivery of a MYLR on Sat.
Both (matrix) headlights are not perfect, but the driver-side on is touching / flush against the side metal panel. Hearing the horror stories here, at first I thought I'd leave it, but would like to know opinions on whether it may be an issue later on (e.g. rubbing causing contacted paint to thin, exposing metal to rusting, or maybe noise issues?).
Car is currently getting fitted for PPF so don't have a photo, sorry.

(Other gaps seem acceptable but not perfect, most major exterior issue I noticed so far is that driver's side rear hatch panel at the roof is much lower than the panel in front of it, but I figure this is something they can fix by unbolting the rear hatch on that side, repositioning it or adding shims, and tightening it down.)

Appreciate any comments you have.

Headlights mounted leftwards (from driver perspective).
